On all three platforms you pair with the same pairing code from the dashboard, and you play the same slides. Which device best suits your screen can be found in which screen and player to choose for digital signage.

Android

  • Player: Android 6.0 or newer. On a TV with Android TV or Google TV, an Android TV box or stick via HDMI, or an Android tablet.
  • Kiosk and POS: Android 7.0 or newer, on an Android tablet, a touchscreen or an Android POS terminal (for example from Sunmi or IPOS). The kiosk also works on Android TV with a remote control.
  • Google Play: the device must have access to Google Play, because that is where you install the apps.
  • Android System WebView: keep it up to date via Google Play. The kiosk and the POS use it to show the order page and the register; with an old version the POS runs more slowly.

Linux and Raspberry Pi

  • System: 64-bit Linux (x64 or ARM64) with at least Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 11 or Fedora 36, or a newer version. We recommend Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 LTS or Debian 12.
  • Raspberry Pi: a Raspberry Pi 4 (4 GB) or Raspberry Pi 5 with Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit. An installation script sets everything up: the app then starts full screen at power-on, without a desktop.
  • Hardware: at least 4 GB of memory and about 1 GB of free disk space.
  • Installation: a .deb package or an AppImage. Request the installer through support.

Windows

  • System: Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. We recommend Windows 11, or Windows 10/11 IoT Enterprise LTSC for a device that only runs the app.
  • Hardware: a PC, mini PC or all-in-one touch PC with an x64 processor, at least 4 GB of memory and about 1 GB of free disk space.
  • Installation: with the installer, which you request through support. The app starts automatically when you sign in to Windows.
  • Locking down: if you want customers or staff to be unable to leave the app, use Windows Assigned Access (kiosk mode). It is included in Windows 10/11 Pro, Enterprise and Education.

For all platforms

  • Internet: a stable connection, preferably with a network cable. The device must be able to make outgoing HTTPS connections (port 443). Without internet, the player keeps playing the most recent content.
  • Date and time: let the device set the time automatically via the internet. Schedules and a video wall depend on the correct time.
  • Screen: any screen with HDMI, or a TV with Android TV or Google TV. We recommend Full HD (1920x1080) or higher.

Extra for the POS and the kiosk

  • POS in the browser: the POS also works without an app, in an up-to-date browser on a PC or tablet. Printing then goes through the browser's print dialog.
  • Receipt printer: a 58 or 80 mm ESC/POS receipt printer.
    • Android: the built-in printer of Sunmi and IPOS POS terminals, or a printer via the network, USB or Bluetooth.
    • Linux: a printer via the network, USB or a printer installed in Linux (CUPS).
    • Windows: a printer via the network. A USB receipt printer installed in Windows prints through the regular Windows print dialog.
  • Cash drawer: connected to the receipt printer.
  • Customer display: a second screen on the same device.
  • Kiosk: a touchscreen, or a TV with a remote control (Android TV).
  • Scan & Order: no app needed; your customer orders in the browser on their own phone.
